As the day was beginning to come to an end the MSU, Rescue and Assistant Chief 1 were alerted for a possible drowning at the Fredericksburg Rock Quarry. Fredericksburg units arrived on scene and quickly confirmed that a victim was confirmed still in the water. MSU-1 and Fredericksburg Response 2 each deployed one Diver into the water to locate the victim. The Divers quickly obtained information from the caller of where the last known location that the victim was seen and began searching that area. Divers located the victim just under an hour and was turned over to waiting EMS on scene. Falmouth units operated on scene just under two hours before returning to service.
