Within an hour after the Falmouth Volunteers returned to service from the small fire in Company 12's due the Rescue Company was alerted for a residential fire off Lillie Lane in Hartwoods first due. Engine 6 was first to arrive to find a single story modular home with smoke showing and deployed a hand line to side alpha. Crews quickly located the fire in the basement and relocated the hand line to side Charlie to make entry. Engine 14 arrived and picked up Engine 6's supply line. Engine 12 arrived next and laid a supply line from the beginning of the drive way due to a relay operation and assisted crews on the first floor checking for extension. Tower 4 completed the primary searches on division 1 which proved negative. Rescue arrived and completed the primary searches in the basement level which proved negative as well. Rescue 1 then assisted Engine 6 with opening up the basement ceiling. The Falmouth Volunteers operated on scene for approximately one hour before returning to service.
