At 16:00 hours Rescue Squad 1 was alerted for an auto accident with people trapped in the area of Warrenton Road and Interstate 95 southbound entrance ramp. The Falmouth Volunteers responded with a total of 6 volunteers. Quint 12 was first to arrive to find a single vehicle off the road into a tree with one trapped. BC1 arrived and established the command. Rescue 1 then arrived and completed stabilization efforts then removed two doors and the roof which completed the extrication. The patient was transported to Mary Washington with minor injuries. Rescue 1 operated on scene for approximately 15 minutes before returning to service.
