At 23:25 hours the box alarm was struck for a residential fire at 933 Anvil Road bringing the Engine and Rescue Company from Falmouth. Engine 1 was first to arrive on scene to find a two story, end of the row town home with smoke showing from side "Alpha". The crew advanced a 150" bumper line to the front door. Battalion 1 (Surles) arrived and established the "Anvil Road Command". Rescue 1 then arrived and located a small fire in the laundry room. Units extinguished the fire and began checking for extension. Command held Falmouth units and Quint 12 for overhaul. The engine company remained on scene for 45 minutes before returning to service.
