At 13:17 hours Stafford E.C.C. started receiving multiple reports of a house on fire in the area of Limox Lane off Kelly Road. The Engine, Rescue, Medic, and both Chief's from Falmouth responded bringing 16 personnel. Battalion 1(Surles) arrived to find a single story wood frame dwelling with fire showing from side Alpha/Delta and established the "Limox Command". The remaining Falmouth units arrived on scene with Rescue 1 conducting the searches and Engine 1 advancing the "Detroit" load through the front. Engine 12 arrived, took a second hydrant, and deployed a 2.5" as the back-up line. As Engine 1 was pushing into the fire the Rescue finished the primary searches which proved negative. Rescue 1's OIC (Good) instructed two members to pull a 1.75" attackline off E-12 to begin knocking down the well involved attic. Engine 2 and Fredericksburg Ladder 1 arrived with 2 Engine taking the R.I.T. responsibilities. Crews utilizing an aggressive interior attack brought the fire under control in less than 10 minutes. Engine 2 and Ladder 1 were then re-assigned to overhaul. The lone occupant was transported to M.W.H. with minor smoke inhalation. Overhaul was completed and units returned to service in two hours.
